Dr. Michael Slater, D.O., has opened a new office in Amherst where he will practice family medicine. The board-certified doctor is accepting new patients and accepts most insurances at 656 N. French Road (near Sweet Home Road), Amherst. After years of post-baccalau-reate premedical studies (after work and on weekends), Dr. Slater graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. After stints with Catholic Health, Kaleida and two other companies, he has now decided to continue his community service in Buffalo, and also open his new practice in West Amherst.
